This 2008 Daimler Super 8 is from the very end of the Jaguar-era of Daimler-badged cars. Based on the “X358” Jaguar XJ, this final iteration of Daimler has the 400 hp supercharged V8 engine and the long wheelbase body, which gives and extra five inches of rear space. Made in very limited numbers the Daimler variant of the XJ is an exclusive vehicle that is rarely seen.
This car was supplied new by RA Creamer of Kensington in 2008 to its first owner, and has subsequently resided in the JLR Collection since 2014. The car is finished in Indigo Blue with Barley leather interior.
The Daimler Super 8 featured a standard level of equipment superior to that of its Jaguar relative, with unique 19” Alloy wheels, fluted radiator grille, wood trim, Daimler logos embroidered on the interior, rear seat screens, electric rear seats and extensive wood trim.
Supplied with 12 months warranty to its new owner, the car will be prepared for sale in Jaguar Classics own workshop.
